well my mom and step dad came and told me that we had a nursery emergency and i was like oh no we lost some babies due to snakes so i go down to the barn and our mama mallard hatched out 2 baby chicks. we know what one is but not the other. any ideas???

Do you mean chicken chicks or ducklings?

it is a chicken chick. we think it is a cross between and RIR and silver spangled chick

I have just recieved a pair of silver spangled hamburg chicks from Murray McMurray Hatchery. This chick looks remarkably similiar to them.

can you post a pic of yours we also have 2 more that hatched out. dont know their breed either.
