My Ideal order arrived today! And they added an extra chick! I know there’s NO WAY to tell what breed it is right now but I wanted to see if everyone agrees that the extra one is the yellow baby. I ordered 4 Easter Eggers, 2 Olive Eggers, 1 Black Star and 1 Brown Leghorn.

These are mostly guesses but I think the 'yellow' chick (7317) might be more of a 'buff' coloring . . . think strawberry blonde if it were hair.

The two olive eggers are likely 7313 and 7330; and 7321 looks like your brown leghorn. The rest I'm not familiar with, but they're likely your EE.

I'm still new so wait for others to weigh in.

I was thinking 7313 was the black star but time will tell! I’m splitting this order with my friend and she said she will take the extra so I want to make sure which one it is. I LOVE 7318’s markings and think that’s one of the EEs. I def want to keep that one 😍

I just looked at Ideal's sight and you might be right about 7313, OE's tend to be darker than EE's so I made a slightly educated guess.

Does the buff chick have feathered legs?

Clean legs! And not fully all one color. Varying shades of buff/yellow. Here’s some different angles on her. I just really think there’s no way she’s an OE, EE, black star or brown leghorn right?

Also agree with 7321. I have 4 others that are 6 weeks now and they looked just like her when they were this old. She’s also real tiny and I know they’re a more petite bird.
