Oh she does have fluffy cheeks! But I don't think she has a beard although the owner of the feed store pointed it out. She's so beautiful! I can't wait to see what she looks like when grown.

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Are your coop and run built? They are just about ready to go out to it.

We ordered our coop and run from omlet... It's a moveable tractor but hasn't arrived yet. We have a back up plan just in case that I thought could be handy for quarantining broody chicks or sick.

They are only 2 weeks but out fairly often from under the heat plate. In fact they've always ventured out quite regularly! I was wondering if they might want to go out to our yard for a short adventure soon but was worried about 2 things: it's pretty windy at our house and chilly with fog. Also I don't want them to become crazy unhappy about brooder life haha. At least not so soon!

Welcome! I found the same thing with my 2 EE.

Oh good! I was worried about her size, mostly making me worry about my Australorp! But I can't find anything wrong with her so my mom said, maybe my EE is a . And who knows? We'll see! They weren't straight run so FX she stays Esther haha.
