Welcome to BYC The chicken information network . Make sure you quarantine new chickens . At least two weeks but its better if its four weeks. You don't want them giving each other a disease or virus . Recently a new member brought new chickens and didn't quarantine and the new chickens gave their flock a virus and all their flock died . This all happened in two weeks . So be very careful where you buy . What you buy is the fun part . There are so many different breeds that lay different color eggs . Have fun

Pretty girl you have! Just another idea...once you have 20 posts, you can use the buy-sell-trade forum to find all sorts of chickens. Maybe someone close to you will have some for sale.
