New Bantams with larger hens.

I have a gentleman who wants to give me a few silkie hens for free. Right now I have 3 year old hens and 3, 3 month old hens. I was wonder if I get a few of these silkies will the larger hens peck them to death. I had a 3 month old get in with the larger girls one day and they nearly killed her. If the silkies are going to be in the same boat I won't take them. Thanks!!

If they are similiar in size try combining the silkies and three month olds. Even if the silkies are bigger sometimes their mommy instinct kicks in. I'd use the three month olds to my advantage.
