new basic coop

    Our newly built, inexpensive, basic coop with 20 ft run. We do plan on them free-ranging during the day and cooped up at night.
    Basically 4'x8'x4', set 2.5' off the ground. I got the plywood from work, they were disposing of it.

    A scrap piece of vinyl floor from Lowes.
    I later installed some roosting poles and a wood strip in front of the nesting boxes to keep the hay in.

    Looks great - a lot of space for them to run around = happy chickens.
