hi,i am Ryan from Trinidad,I am 17 years old,my father has a poultry shop were he raise chicken for meat.i help him a little but recently i started to raise 24 layer chickens on my own i started about 20-21 weeks ago so i think thay should be laying soon i am so excited i have been reading about them on this web sight since i got them but now decided to join.

i want to know some thing from you all?

what did you all do with your first egg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please tell me i want some idears of what to do with mine when i get it.

Honestly... I can't remember what I did with my first egg. That was along time ago!

When I finally saw my first egg, the first thing I did was run around screaming..."An Egg, an EGG...somebody laid an EGG!!!!!" LOL I am sure it was fried up in the pan shortly there after.

It's fine to eat the first egg. Some people drain it out and leave the shell intact to keep. We ate all our first eggs, they're good stuff.
