New Beginnings Over Here!

For about two years now I have been requesting chicks in hopes of having our own eggs. I did not look too much into this because I never thought my boyfriend would agree to it. Well, 2 weeks ago we went to our local feed store and now have 6 chicks and 2 ducks!

I am now more than ever reading books and searching the interent for as much information as I can find on them. I believe that we have 4 Jersey Giants, 1 Cream Buttercup pattern Old English (can not find any info on this breed), and 1 white chick that I am unsure of her breed.

We are wanting to start them on a vegetarain diet. Any help, tips, experience with this would be greatly appreciated!
