New bird mom, looking for community

I removed a sweet cockatiel from a neglect situation. She was already well socialized and hand trained. Her owner, sadly, has extremely poor executive function and was having a difficult time caring for her. She's spent nearly all day on my shoulder, grooming herself and me, dancing to whatever music I've had on, quietly chittering away at me, and banging on my earrings. I freaked out when she started making a grinding noise only to find out it meant she was relaxed. Yeah...I'm going to need help.
