New bourbon red poult

Hey guys I bought a 1 week old bourbon red poult today. She is doing great and is eating and drinking. Quick question though is she ok with some chicks...I have half a dozen but I only have one poult. I am trying to imprint her so she is the only one I bought. Is this a safe move? She is my first poult and I couldn't wait for my beltsvilled whites to hatch in like 2 weeks. How long does it take to imprint a turkey and is there anything special that I need to do for her or him. I call it Me, and I will hopefully post a pick of Me tomorrow.

I just got my first turkeys last week, 3 bronze turkeys

I have a chick in with mine to show them the ropes, before I put her in there they were hiding in a corner and wouldnt eat or drink but after I put her in there they are running around happy, playing, eating and drinking, and they even jump on the roost when they see her on it.................... They say you shouldnt keep them together because of "blackhead" but I have several friends and alot of people on this forum keep them together with no issues but that is not to say that you wont have issues so use your own discretion of whether you want to put them together.

Ya my one poult was doing great yesterday so I put it with my day old orphington chicks so he has lots of friends and is doing great.
