Enter your chickens in the Fancy Feathers 4-H Open Chicken Show, for Fun and Prizes, June 7th at the Comal County Fairgrounds. Early check-in: June 6, 5-7:30 pm and June 7, 9-10 am.
Fancy Feathers 4-H Club is the only 4-H club in Texas that is dedicated to raising, breeding, and showing backyard fowl, heirloom, rare, and endangered breeds - all kinds of chickens, except for broilers.
Interested? Entry deadline is May, 24, 2008. APA and ABA standards will be used for judging; Eddie Stoehr, Judge.
All chickens brought to the show must be current for P/T testing, which is free (contact [email protected] 512-466-8235).
