My daughter has been asking me for several years now to get a breed club together for Buckeyes, and my work has finally given me the free time I needed to do so. So the American Buckeye Poultry Club is born!
I've had a Yahoo group for Buckeyes for about a year, and we have well over 100 members. You can see it here: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/AmericanBuckeyePoultryClub/
I have signed up as an Affiliate member with both the ABA and the ABA, have paperwork on the way to register for non-profit status in KY, and am working on a Constitution and Bylaws. Once those are done, we'll hold elections for Officers (have three interim Directors in place already.)
So if anyone is interested in joining, send me an email either through this forum or to americanbuckeye AT gmail DOT com. At this time there is no charge for membership, although down the road we will do so (once we get non-profit status granted and have a bank account.) But if you're interested, be sure to email me.
