New Breeding Pen

Been working on a new breeding pen so I can have a place to separate various birds so I can get some purebred eggs for hatching.

Built as a lean-to style against the side of an existing shed. Dimensions are about 20' 6" x a little less than 10'. Will have five seperate compartments.

Humble beginnings...one board...lol

Didn't get another pic today, but one end and the back wall are almost done. lol

So how many sections is this gonna be divided for your breeding pens?

5 "rooms."

3 smaller ones of equal size and 2 larger.


Building it has not been without it's challenges. I said to myself at one point, I'll be glad when I get it done, so I can burn it to the ground! LOL Let's just say, it has made me mad more than once....haha.

I am looking at doing some breeder pens as well. so will be hanging around to learn....

The John Deere needs to be restored. It hasn't been used for a long time. You pay for a restoration, I'll let you drive it. LOL

One end and back covered...with metal and plywood, reused stuff....

This other end is going to be wire, and the front side will be the doors, and wire.....
