We got four new ducks (hens) from Metzger, hatched June 1. Two are Silver Appleyard and two are Welsh Harlequin. Question: when can we safely introduce them to our adult Anconas (1 duck, 1drake)?

If you want, you can introduce them through a barrier at any time. So they can see one another, but can't interact. I like to do this as early as possible, so they have weeks of getting use to one another. I then usually wait till mine our about 6 weeks old before introducing mine to the flock fully. They are cuties!
Oh good! We just assembled a small coop for the babies, and the adults can see them clearly (separated by a layer of hardware cloth). The adults seem only minimally curious about them and the new coop.

That will definitely help them get use to each other. Disinterest is usually a good sign. When they are too interested, it is not normally in a good way, but being territorial and such. If you find them resting near the young ones, that is a really good sign of them starting to accept the new ones.
