Well... Today was day 16 of my incubation... This time I moved it to my workshop.... So being out of sight... Suddenly when I was in there I heard... Chirp chirp...

Ran over... And lo and behold 2 thirds of my 43 fertile eggs hatched. All eggs still in the egg Turner and turning!

I did not add any water at all, and humidity was at 60 plus just from the hatching chicks.

Finished the hatch, and had only 2 un pipped eggs with fully develop quails inside. The rest all.Healthy and well.

Find it strange to get such a good hatch rate with running dry from start to finish... Any inputs?

My new brooder.
This is the first time using it, gonna enjoy the cleanliness that comes with it. Ease of cleaning. Might find some plastic mesh with holes suited for new born next time. So that we can have the poop dropping down under from the get go.

Here is a video I shot tonight about it.

By the way, the material is foam sandwiched core board. 100% water proof... Meaning you can hose it down to clean. (not the electrical parts on top).
