New Buff Orpington mom

Hello, we haven't had chickens in a number of years, but just got 15 Buff Orpington chicks this week. They are already starting to get wing feathers! We have 10 females and 5 males, planning on keeping one rooster and hoping for a broody hen. We will move them in a chicken tractor at first but may try to get a more permanent home. My biggest concern right now is the buffalo gnats we get in late May/early June. They killed many young chickens we had in two different years. Need to figure out something this year as with the chicken tractor they are directly on the grass.
