I've lurked the site for some time now as it's my go to for information dealing with chickens and more recently a older thread when I was seeking help in how to work with my lab retriever to teach her not to chase the chickens (I've got a long way to go on that yet). My housemate has chickens so I mainly come here to get answers on my own and in the vent I own chickens of my own. I use to have chickens in the past as I had hen rescues that fell from the trucks and someone gave me a banty rooster as a starter rooster.. chicks never came of him and my hens but I learned quickly that you had to teach a rooster who owned the yard.
