My daughter and I are sitting at my mother's house right now, watching our eggs at home through the webcam I set up this morning. We can hear tapping, but no peeping. I'm not seeing any rocking... this is driving us crazy!
For everyone else it's the most boring show on TV...
Actually, every time I leave the second bdrm, where the Hova is with that last lone straggler egg still incubating, I have to pass the low table with the Fridge-a-Bator hatcher and I take a quick look as I go into the greatroom. Sure hope these babies dont take as long to hatch as the Blue Orps did. They make me wait every time!
You got it! I don't know how you guys do it. Knowing within a day or two when they should hatch has got to be nerve racking. Cows you have due dates but, they can come a week or two either side of that date and you don't have all that energy involved with temp reg. and candling, etc. and it can be frustrating enough.
Well, I tell you, Kitty, if I have a broody in the spring, I'll be a happy camper! I love that and have only been able to watch a hen raise her chicks one time. What you bet my broody is one of the Blue Orps I need hatching eggs from to send to other people?!
