I'm new in the coop!
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens, I just got my first babies April 3 2020.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 12!
(3) What breeds do you have? 2 Polish Crested, 2 Dominique, 2 Speckled Sussex, 2 Rhode Island Red, 2 Delaware and 2 Golden Sex Link
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Entertainment and the eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? hiking, reading, crochet
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband John and I have 2 adult children. We both work in healthcare. We have 2 dogs, a shih zhu (Bella) and an english lab(Bear). We are grandparents to a chameleon named Yoda.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC about a month ago when we decided to get chicks.
