Hello fellow chicken peeps! I know this question has been asked but being a newbie here I’m having trouble finding the answer! I have been bestowed on me a lot of plain instant oatmeal. Can chickens eat this without any problems? Thanks for any help to this question! - Dream

Oh, now I read the part about the instant oatmeal so ignore me on your other post. Well, that's got a lot of sugar added I think. I'd check the ingredients first.

Yes chickens love an occasional treat of warm oatmeal especially on a cold winters morning! As long as its plain oatmeal, no sugar added, its a great treat!

Hi, I agree with the others...as an occasional treat, the oatmeal should be fine if it isn't loaded with sugar. Thanks for joining us!
