New BYC Member!

I've run to the BYC website many times, since becoming a chicken addict a few years back.
2 turned into 13!

I live in Garner, NC and have a buff orp, a silver cuckoo maran, a black maran, 3 blue copper marans, a black wyandotte, 3 partridge penedesencas, 2 black australorps and one golden buff.

When I'm not chickening, I'm a licensed massage therapist.

I received 4 babies from Meyer's Hatchery a few days ago and have had them inside the house, so far, in a tupperware box. Never in contact with any other chickens and found this (see pic) in the droppings.
They're eating Manna organic chick starter.

I sent pics also to Meyer's but haven't heard back.

When I enlarged your photo, it seems to show a segmented tapeworm . I've never seen one that color (usually whitish in dogs). You might want to have that examined by a vet who can prescribe the correct treatment.
