God Bless you Janelle. You will have a great time with your flock. Good mix of chickens. One thing I have found is to add some extra protein. I have one feeder with layer feed and one with "all flock" feed. Most layer feed is low in protein. I also do oyster shell free choice. Since you have boys you could just do the all flock for all and the roosters won't eat oyster shell.Hi everyone,

3 RIR ( 2 hens 1 Roo) 1 copper Maran.. <~~ hatched May 13th… 1 blue or silver something… ( given to me) 1 silkie 1 frizzle ( 3 year old rooster) and 1 black Americana ( rooster) my blue was born sometime in April or May and she all the sudden started crowing today….hoping I get eggs soon any pointers for this new chicky momma???
