Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New but not new. Family had chickens when a kid.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6 layers, which is down from 16 due to normal wear and tear to countryside flock with daily turnout IE: fox and hawks. 25 just hatched.

(3) What breeds do you have?
Black Cooper Marans Rooster Buff Orpington, Plymouth Barred Rock, Australourp Hens. Chicks are cross of the above.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Eggs

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Beekeeping, Papercrafting, Trash to treasure makeover

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
One Husband, 2 dogs, 3 equines (horse, mule, mini donkey) bees, 20+ Tumbler pigeons and 20+ goldfish.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Joined due to the fact it has become my go to source for up to date, easy to understand and implement advise on caring for my flock.
