Hello!

I posted last night in the emergency thread, but I thought I would be rude not to also introduce myself formally! I live in Central CA, which I am trying to leave as soon as possible. Not a lot of job opportunities where we are, and the cost of living is pretty high! Although, to be honest, with a master's degree in literature there aren't a lot of jobs for me anywhere

. I really appreciate how helpful and kind everyone has been so far on BYC. I've lurked on the site for quite a bit, but since it's Halloween, I thought I'd come out of the shadows and say hello.
