Just got 8 Bovan hens this spring, and they are currently laying 3-4 eggs a day. Not sure why we aren't getting more eggs, but they all seem happy and healthy. Very friendly and talkative gals! I have had RI reds once before, many years ago, in a much warmer climate, so interested in learning all I can to keep my hens happy and healthy. Living in 100 Mile House, BC area, and have snow already!

Yes, waaay too early for snow here...about 3 weeks. And now will be 0 or less all week. Hoping for at least another week of warmer weather.

I have traveled through NM. Beautiful country, but I love the forests up here!
