New Chattanooga Chicken owner!

I am a first time chicken owner and am SO glad to find this site! A wonderful friend gave me her one month old White Crested Polish Black chicken on Friday! So, for Mother's Day I asked my carpenter husband to build a custom chicken coop! I have been on the internet day and night looking up information when I came across this site! Until this weekend I knew nothing about the care and raising of chickens! Can't wait to get the coop built so I can get a few more!
