Hello all! I have browsed the forums and find that this site may be a great resource as our family begins raising chickens for fresh eggs for the first time ever. We have recently moved to the country and now have room (5 acres) to take on the backyard hobby. Our son (11 y.o.) is also interested in 4-H, yet we're just researching that possibility at the moment. Looking forward to chatting with you in the forums and learning lots. I'm so happy that I finally get to bring out the country girl in me!
