New Chic here.

sounds to me like you need chicken therapy don't just go out when you have work to do spend some time with em just watching their interactions.

Welcome thinkyou have come to the right place I have learned soo soo much here it has saved the lives of so many in my flock over the last couple years or so.

They are a spread in age but think they should interact ok once they are used to each other. As long as there is plenty of roost plenty of food, plenty of water and plenty of "land features" to allow escapes and hiding if needed. Welcome to being a chicken parent. warning build your coop with plenty of room. 3 or 4 have a tendency to turn into a dozen. They are addictive. Can't imagine life without em and don't know how I survived the first 45 years of my life without em .
