New Chick Behaviour - Is this normal?

Hi All,
We just picked up our babies at the feed store. We got 4 babies and they are now home and in their brooder. Is it normal for them to peck eachother in the face?

Yes but it happens less the more space they have.

ok i think space wise they are ok for now. they literally just got out of the box from the feed store.......

Healthy chickens are very active animals and get bored easily.

Yeah being rude is common chick behaviour. They will peck each other and walk over others sleeping. Having lots if room and little perches helps the rudeness. And by chick I wasn't talking about the human variety....

Phew!! I was worried at first. They seem very happy!! I have put in a few sticks and a toilet paper roll for them to play with.

My babies loved to peck the dogs instead of each other. If they even saw the dogs through the glass...2 of the chicks came running up to peck at them. I was like a game for them and the dogs. Chicks peck glass, dogs bark like mad making the chicks peck all the more. They have since become friends but it wasn't until I moved them outside that they learned to get along.
