New Chick from PA

Super excited to be on the boards....currently have 2 Austalorps - one brooding. We've purchased 6 mixed fertilized eggs for her to sit on...so far so good. Fingers crossed that we get baby chicks in 19 days!

I also keep Australorps. They are the only breed I will keep. Such friendly, easy to keep birds. And from experience, at least in my flock, when they go broody, they will stay that way, whether you like it or not! LOL
