Hi everyone! I'm new to raising chickens. Right now we have 4 chicks that are about a month old. Two are Welsummers and two are Blue Stars. They are so sweet. We've been handling them to get them use to us and so far that seems to be going well. The Blue Stars are so funny, they love attention and show us all their "tricks" when we walk in the room. The Welsummers are cute, their feathers are coming in so we like to say they look like teenagers that just woke up! So far everything is going nicely... it's definitely a learning experience for us but I know there are so many of you that I can get help from if we need it. If there are any tips you have for a beginner, share away!
