Hi everyone! I’m a first time chick owner. I went to the feed store wanting four, and that quickly doubled to 8, and then I went back and they had some new RIRs so of course I grabbed two more. I pretty much spend my days googling my new babies and I almost always end up reading threads on BYC, so I figured it was time to join

I’m loving owning chicks more than I thought and I’m so excited to watch them grow and learn all about them!

I attached pics of my babes! All but two have names. I think I have:

1 BR
2 RIRs
3 Blue Australorps
1 Black Australorp
2 Light Brahmas
1 Buff O

If I’m wrong I’d love to hear everyones input and guesses :)

Adorable babies! If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of them, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
