Hi!! My name is Jill and I’m new here. My husband and I decided to get chickens for a few reasons and we’ve had them since about August 6th.
We got them from tractor supply and like most people who buy chicks(that are supposed to hens) from tractor supply- I think we have some roosters but I’m not 100%.
I think we have some Easter eggers,maybe some amarcuanas, and 2 speckled Sussex.

Welcome to the BYC community!!! Your babies are so cute! I have 3 EEs myself (along with others) and I find them to be a very sweet, docile breed in my opinion

I am no expert on breed identification, but I see what I believe are Easter Eggers (I have two) and certainly Speckled Sussex (mine is the most unhelpful "helper" ever; she wants to be involved in everything I do and every step I take).

As far as gender, I won't hazard a guess. From appearances, two of my hens certainly look like roosters, but their eggs tell a different story.
