Hi! I'm Angela, Mom to Zac, wife to Chris and fur mom to Tinklebelle and Mortimer the cats. I have always wanted chickens, and finally this year we are making that a reality. We have 15 eggs in an incubator right now and seven have pipped!

13 are polish and 2 orpingtons. We lost 4 cochin eggs and 6 orpington eggs during incubation .

I'm super excited to start this new adventure.

I work in an animal pathology lab, and love all thing's farming. I've always wanted to homestead, and hope to do so in the future. I have a massive indoor plant collection and love gardening and cooking too.

I listen to the BYC podcast and decided to join this community. I've already learner so much!

Hello Angela and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. Please make yourself at home. Good luck with your hatch.

This is a useful link of “How to” BYC guides to take a look at announcements-feedback-issues-guides.3. I’d suggest including your location using the guide in the link. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

Best wishes
