New chick mom in WNY

Hi everyone!! I am new to raising chicks. I got my 6 "girls" on May 19 they were 4 days old. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on and watching YouTube videos. I would like to actually interact with others that are doing and have done this!! Best advice is an actual person to talk with.

We have the coop and are doing a few modifications to it. Wood for the run arrived today and the hardware cloth arrives Monday. My husband needs to work fast! My girls are growing fast!!! They are 4 weeks today and are outgrowing the brooder box!!

For waterers I use nipple cups which can be attached to PVC or 5-gallon buckets. For the feed I use the DIY elbow ports which can be attached to buckets or totes.

We use a 5-gallon DYI nipple water bucket and a 5-gallon DYI feed bucket with ports.
