(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes we are new. Our 4 sr silkies were first to come home on 5/12, three buff orpington pullets joined us on 5/18
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 7 ( we added a wyandotte pullet at the end of may but she passed from an unknown condition>)
(3) What breeds do you have? silkies and buff orpies
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? building and making things for them, the interactions we have
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? crafting and home improvement projects
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. we have 8 indoor cats and a small dog
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? i arrived by links on facebook and google searches for several newbie questions I have had
