New chick mom!

Hi all,
So I bought my first chicks April 28th. We went to Tractor supply for our dogs, I heard chirping around the corner and it was love at first sight! I went home with (I think) 2 cinnamon queens, 2 Plymouth barred rocks and 2 buff orpingtons. All around 2 weeks I think. I had no idea just how much I would enjoy watching and caring for them! As of now I'm pretty sure I have 4 females and to males (the barred rocks). Yesterday I ended up getting four more chicks, 2 sex links and 2 starlight eggers?? Not 100% sure though. We have two children who still live at home with us, a daughter 13 and son 8. They were super excited about the chicks for about an hour lol. Anyway, I look forward to being a part of this small community!
