Thanks, I went to the website, I had tried doing those previously, the vet also put a hobbler on her, but she screamed bloody murder until I took it off. I just wrapped her legs in a pipe cleaner after reading the article, but I had to hold her the whole time. She finally kicked it off, and as soon as I took it off her she fell asleep in my hands. I can't hold her all night, so I just put her back in her bed, and she's flayling around and yelling at me. I just took these pictures. Let me know what you think. She is cute tho isn't she?

She will need continuous treatment in order to walk again. She won't like it, but if she doesn't wear the "brace" continuously, she will never walk.

Like how continuous? Because I will need to hold her while the brace is on or she falls like a cartoon character with her feet straight out and screams her head off. I feel so bad but I do want her to get better. I just need some guidance on what I should worry about and what I shouldn't when it comes to her making a fuss over this. I don't know if she's in pain or just angry. What do you suggest? Thanks :)

If she wears it while you hold her and doesn't scream then she is just angry that you put her down is what I believe.

The bandaid as the website showed. Leave it on for 12-24 hours then let her run a few minutes without, then back on again.

I think I understand. When she is laying down, her feet are straight out? That's normal. You may have to help her eat and drink. After about 2 to 3 days you will see improvement. Make sure the hobble is tight enough that her legs are not too far apart, but not so tight as to cut off circulation. Also, when she is able to walk, be sure she is not on a slippery surface.
I know it feels cruel to keep her hobbled, but it is the only way she will be able to walk and be independent.

It's like a cast put on a broken bone on a child. It's for their own good.

They are two weeks old. The spraddle leg isn't bad, it's barely noticeable, but she seems to be unable to balance herself. She leans back and left. She stands fine when I am balancing her. I feel like I'm teaching her how to ride a bike. But I can't hold her all day long. I built a corral for her but she won't stay in it. I want to make her a wheelchair, but I would rather rehabilitate her and help her to walk on her own. Is it too late? The vet wanted to euthanize her. I was appalled.

You could try vitamin B complex. They make chick vitamin B or you can use your own if you have it. For a chicken, it'd be 1/4 of one or 1/2 if it's really large, so for a chick maybe crush one and just try figure what's about 1/8 of one and mix it with a little feed mixed with water so it eats the whole thing.
