Hi Patty,

I just joined BYC today too and also have some new chooks at home who LOVE red foods and spurn most green stuff (exceptions being dandelions and silverbeet). I have discovered that for tomato they will put up with just about anything :)
 
Welcome from Southern California! So far my girls have eaten pretty much anything I've given them, from watermelon to celery to cabbage to butternut squash. They seem to like it all!
