New chick owner in PA

Hi, I'm new here (although I've been lurking forever, reading and learning and impatiently waiting for chicks to arrive!) Today I received 9 chicks from Ideal Hatchery, all in great shape and happy, and so far I'm pretty enamored with chicken ownership

I'm a legal chicken owner, thankfully - chickens are allowed, as are coops as long as they aren't affixed to a foundation.

Outside of chick-rearing, I have four kids and a full time job (but the husband's a stay-at-home-dad who is probably more chicken-excited than me

)

Just wanted to say hello! I'm thrilled with all of the resources this board presents and look forward to participating!
