New chick poppa!

Hello! I’ve posted a few times on here and so far it’s been a GREAT community! I’m new to owning chickens. I have 6 baby chicks right now a little over 2 weeks old. I got them from the local TSC. I *think* they are 2 California Whites, 2 White Leghons and 2 Amberlinks. So far they have done really good! I’m in the process of finishing their coop and run. I live in central Arkansas so the weather is nice and warm out. I had been kicking around the idea to have some chickens for the past few years, weighing the pro’s and con’s, etc. so this year I finally pulled the trigger. I got them for eggs and to have some enjoyment of having chickens to mess with. I work from home, married with 5 kids. And a garden. So we will see how this goes! I had chickens growing up at my grandparents house I pretty much lived at during the summer so I’m looking forward to this!
