Hello all it been quite a while since I have posted here. Yes I still have chickens here in the Philippines. I have this one chick I would say around 5 weeks old or a little older. Ever since it been born it has been very wobbly on it feet. Right now it can not really stand up on it own without losing it balance or falling over. It claws mainly curled up but once in a while one side would be uncurled. As of now we have it with some other chicks for the time being and it able to move around but has a lot a trouble doing so. It does eat and tries to drink water, I have been helping it drink the last few days as I know It struggles to stay upright. So anyone ever have this happen before? I know in the long run it will never really be able to roost because of it balance problem. And of course it may not make to the juvenile stage. I have raised one chick before but that one was healthy. Not really familiar what breed it is. Just know it from the Philippines. All the other chicks we have are fine. Thanks for your time, and have a great day.

You could try and supplement with vitamin B complex and vitamin E to see if the problems are caused by a deficiency.

What are you feeding and do the chicks get any kind of poultry vitamins in their drinking water once or twice per week?
