New chick with bald, bloody patch on head

My bantam cochin first time mom hatched baby #2, but the chicks head is bare and looks like dried blood. Could this be from the egg while hatching?? It is moving around and peeping, but I'm very concerned.

Does it look like skin or like the skull cap is missing? It could be exposed brain if the latter is the case.

It looks more like a lump, definitely skin but hard to tell if it’s missing skull or on top of the skull. I’ve added a picture I hope it’s clear enough.

That lump off to the side reminds me of some of the more exposed brains I've seen on here. Search for that and see if it looks similar to you as well.
