Bought my first 4 chicks today

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Yet to figure that out. Would like to figure out how to have a low maintenance coup. Currently they are kept in a section off of our kennel so they stay warm. Plan on converting my greenhouse into a coup.

Is that a pittie watching them?

There’s a great forum on coops and runs, lots of pictures, lots of ideas on repurposed/recycled/built from scratch etc coops and runs. All sizes. Many also show features that makes maintenance and cleaning easier.
Some of us learned by trial and error so ask questions!
