Hi everyone, Im a "New Chick" to this website, what a wealth of information!!! We had chickens 15 years ago before we moved to Eastern Oregon and I loved them, but moving over here we were afraid of the cold winters and the predators and so we never got around to keeping a flock again. But here we are middle-aged and all our kids have "flown our coop" so we are ready to start up again. To be sure I will ask lots of questions and they didn't have sites like this prior to gain info from!
