We got our first ever day old chicks about a month ago and I've been in love from day one.
I was wondering if anyone might have some advice about this though:

I came home from work today and noticed that one of my randombreds had a wonky looking eye. Does anyone possibly know what this could be?
 
Would you know if your other birds are pecking at her? It looks very reddened under the eye. Even minor eye injuries are very painful. You could try posting in full detail and maybe with a clear closeup of her at, emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread.
 
I spend a fair bit of time in and around the brooder with them and I've never seen much pecking happen at all.
When I took a close look at her, it looked like the skin under the eye was drooping a bit and exposing the tissue under the eye a bit. It almost reminds me of cherry eye in dogs.
I'll try to get a better picture and post it in the emergencies etc. thread.
