New Chicken Awning

I need to leave more often. After watching the girls for a week, my husband decided they needed a chicken awning. We built this yesterday to help keep them out of the rain this winter. We also cut open the front of the yellow hen house so they can use it more freely and see out. Plus it gives us 3 more nest boxes. My hubby is amazing--he's always watching the girls and figuring out what else we could do for them. It's been a very fun adventure for both of us having chickens.

Thanks Critter Girl! We just added 12 chicks to our 8. Need to make some adjustments for the addition to our flock.
