New chicken baby mama

i recently got 8 baby chickens on april first, it has been a joy watching them grow and building the chicken coop that will hopefully be filled with eggs someday, i recently purchased 5 acres of land and am looking forward to having my own mini farm, the chickens are the first to come and we had a great time building the coop and being the artist i am i painted it camoflauge, im really proud of it and cant wait till i can post pictures, i have been enjoying learning some chicken facts from all of you and its good to know there is someone out there to answer my questions.....im in Longs, SC

from South Carolina! This is a great place to meet people and learn about keeping chickens. I started with 5 and in less than a year I have 21, and we just had 8 chicks hatch this week! I LOVE chicken math! I have been having so much fun I even started a chicken blog!
