New Chicken Chick needs Chickens in CT

Hello!

Located in Litchfield county CT but willing to travel to any part of New England.

I'm looking for someone who has a few (3-5) nice young pullets/hens for my backyard coop. They'd be loved and spoiled- I'm a vegetarian so no soup here!

I'd like a docile, friendly, quiet breed that is fairly winter hardy.

Also, I like silkies...why? They're cute!

I have a few surprise hatches coming out of my incubator the 1st of september, i know there is a possibility of pure silkies, due to the fact that one of the possible hens mamas is a silkie and one roo is a silkie, if I end up with some of these I could give you a few...do you want me to keep you in mind??

Welcome! I'm in CT too (eastern-Windham County) but I'm afraid I don't have any pullets or young hens to find new homes for right now. I'm just feeling bad that I missed this post. Hope you have some luck finding what you want!
