New Chicken Coop Owner from New Hampshire deciding on the actual Chickens

I live up by Dartmouth College(Lebanon) area and got chickens last fall, after much research into hardy breeds that are good layers as well I purched "Golden Comet" and "Golden Sex Link". They are so much fun and have started laying eggs after just 5 months even in winter. If you want them to be super friendly pay lots of attention to them and give treats, mine love grapes. Good luck and have fun!

I believe that Golden Comets, Golden Sex Link, Cinnamon Queen and Red Stars are all the same breed. Just different names from different hatcheries. Have to differentiate your company's products, right?

Hello and welcome to BYC! Well the breed depends upon what you want to raise chickens for. I currently raise Seramas but have had 17 other breeds as well, all raised primarily dual purpose or ornamental.

New person from New Hampshire too! I saw a backyardchickens.com bumper sticker on someones car in Milford NH...and now here I am!

Does anyone know if there are any breeders who have frizzle bantams?
